The Birth Summary Template can be found under Auto-Consultation >ardens NURSES and HCAs > Birth Summary. It is also linked on the Reception & Administration template.
Note: If you regularly use the Birth Summary Template it may be useful to add this to your F12 Favourites for quick access.
This template should only be completed if the details haven't been populated in the system already. To check if this has been completed, when clicking in the relevant box, see if any of the codes have been added previously by looking in the yellow box on the right hand side.
This template is split into two useful tabs; Baby and Mother and is designed to open on the relevant tab depending on the patient retrieved.
Baby - This tab should be used for baby's record. The Delivery option has a
next to it which indicates payment linked to the code.
Any of the codes in the template can be backdated by using the last drop down box at the end of a line.
There are shortcuts at the bottom of the template to record mother's details along with any other person relevant to the child.
The Action section allows the end user to send a task or book appointment if applicable.
Mother - This tab is designed to be used on the mother. The Delivery option has a
next to it, this indicates that there is payment linked to this field.
